Monstera deliciosa, commonly referred to as the Swiss Cheese Plant, is a tropical vine admired for its large, thick, shiny leaves that feature unique natural holes and splits (fenestrations) as they grow. Native to regions ranging from Mexico to Panama, it thrives as a climbing plant, utilizing aerial roots to cling to structures such as trees. In the wild, these plants can reach impressive sizes, but typically indoors, they grow to about 6–8 feet; however, with climbing assistance like a moss pole, they can achieve much greater heights
